The discussion emphasized:
preserving the Arctic is not only about saving one region - it is about ensuring global environmental sustainability and protecting our shared future.
Danila Marshalov, first-year student.
“Attending the Arctic Day event was a reminder of how much this region affects our planet. I learned that this region is an ocean that is covered in ice and is claimed by eight countries. I also discovered that the Arctic is polluted by radiation from nuclear weapons testing. In conclusion, the Arctic is a very important region that impacts both global warming and the level of the world ocean."
Diana Chirkova, second-year student.
"I really enjoyed the Arctic Day event. The quiz was fun and helped me learn new facts about the Arctic and polar bears. I also found the student presentations interesting because they showed why the Arctic is important for the global climate and why we need to protect it”.
